You've acknowledged that you have parking problems in and around the Spot. I would like to know further information about what you are doing to rectify this down point. Otherwise, The Spot is not a bad place to visit.

The Spot Replies:

Unfortunately, the space allocated for parking is entirely controlled by Randwick council. We have repeatedly petitioned them to allot more parking space for residents and Spot visitors alike, and we can only wait upon them. As such, it is hard for us to directly do anything about it - it is in the hands of your local councillors. If you wish to have a say, we encourage that: send mail into Randwick council and alert them about the parking problems.

I visited The Spot yesterday and I would like to say that the precinct is a delightful place to spend an afternoon. I wandered in and out of the cosy nestling of stores and relaxed in the warm atmosphere at one of the cafes. I will definitely return there.
